Kashmir’s star player Sadia Tariq displayed brilliant performance and won the gold medal in Moscow Wushu Stars championship being held in Moscow from February 22-28.

The two times gold medalist in the Junior National Wushu championship Sadia won the gold medal in Wushu Championship at Moscow.
She defeated a Russian girl in the championship which is the approved event in the Annual Calendar Training and Competition of the Sports Authority of India.
The Junior and Senior India team is participating in the championship. Sadia is from Srinagar and has recently secured Gold medal in the 20th Junior National Wushu championship at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, in which J&K Wushu team remained overall 3rd in the Medal tally.
President of the J&K Wushu Association Vijay Saraf along with office bearers congratulated her for the feat.
Kuldeep Handoo, National Chief Coach of India has also congratulated Sadia for the gold in the championship.
